We can narrow down a few dates and times that work for you and your family, discuss the location choices, and any of the fun details needed for the shoot. Once your'e ready to book I'll get you on my calendar and see you the day of your session! You are welcome to pay ahead of time if you prefer or can pay in full the day of our session.

Bring your kids favorite treat and special toy. We will walk and explore, play and jump. Kids can be kids and I'm just going to capture you and your family throughout it all! I want your session to be fun and enjoyable and your memories of our time together to be a blast--your pictures will reflect that!

I try very hard to get your full gallery delivered to you within 2-3 weeks of our session together. Sometimes I'm a lot quicker than that...but during busy season that time frame is pretty realistic. I'll email you a downloadable link where you are able to save and then share and/or print your images whenever and however you would like. You also are able to forward on the link to others (like grandparents) so they can also print and share your images.

WHAT IS LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHY?
Lifestyle photography is a genre of photography that mainly aims to capture portraits of people in situations, real-life events or milestones in an artistic manner and the art of the everyday. The primary goal is to tell stories about people's lives or to inspire people in different times.
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
Something you are comfortable and feel yourself and happy in! I like to tell my mamas to make sure and select their outfits first and then choose their children's and husband's outfits to compliment afterwards.
DO YOU EDIT YOUR PHOTOS?
Absolutely! I have a set number of edits that I apply to every image and then tweak and fix things from there. I always attempt to make my images lighter and airy, vibrant but true to color. I fix blemishes and other superficial issues as needed as well.
IS STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY AVAILABLE?
I do have studio photography available but we will need to discuss ahead of time what your needs will be. Most cake smashes and other small (1 child) sessions are easily accommodated for in my home. Other sessions can be arranged for at local studios if necessary.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?
Turn around time is typically 2-3 weeks for regular sessions. Sometimes I can be much quicker than this too. I always try to get sneak peeks out within a week of your session as well.
WHAT IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE OR CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT?
Communication is key. I'm fairly flexible and try to be accommodating. If the weather is bad or someone gets sick we can reschedule and work something out.My schedule does get pretty booked, especially during the fall, so the earlier you are able to communicate the better to get you rescheduled. No shows and non communicators will unfortunately have to be charged.
HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE?
This varies depending on which type of session you are having done and how many people and ages are involved but typically between 20-25 images is my norm. Sometimes I have a hard time narrowing down your images and you get a whole lot more too!
WHERE DO YOU RECOMMEND THAT I PRINT THROUGH?
I recommend mpix for printing, especially larger prints. I also have had good luck with Amazon pictures and Free Prints (an app)! I really suggest not printing at CVS, Walgreens or the like as the quality is terrible.
WHAT TIME OF DAY SHOULD WE SCHEDULE THE SHOOT?
I will definitely be in touch with the timing as it varies depending on the time of year but it's pretty much always going to be the hour or two before sunset as that is the best lighting. I also am available, at times, for sunrise sessions if that works better for scheduling.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE LOCATIONS TO SHOOT?
I adore Rogers Lakewood Park because it offers so many different types of backgrounds and gorgeous scenery spots for your session. I also really like Odgen Gardens, Sunset Hill Farm, and Coffee Creek.
