I love taking pictures of kids and their families while working to capture their individual personalities and the small, but meaningful, moments in childhood, life, and motherhood.
I always have a Strawberry Sparkling Ice or a McDonald's coke in hand and F.R.I.E.N.D.S is forever my favorite show—it never gets old.
I'm a Nikon girl and a natural light photographer...

+ I have the travel bug (thanks to my husband) and have now been to 12 countries but I'm still no where near my husband's 26. We got engaged in Paris which was my first country I ever visited!
+I have a twin brother who is one of my most favorite people in the world
+I'm a logophile (lover of words) and my favorite class in college was "Word Origins"
+I over use emojis and and exclamation points frequently
+I'm a CPA (tax accounting) but quit when my daughter was born (haven't missed it yet!)

When I'm not
We honeymooned in Maui and spent a day traveling the Road to Hana. We stopped off on the side of the road to check out a gorgeous view and ended up stumbling upon a little plunge pool from a small waterfall...complete with a rope swing. We had the spot to ourselves for hours and then traveled on farther to the Black Sand Beach which had the bluest waters against (the obvious) black sand. One of the most incredible days I've ever lived.

my favorite
I first started learning how to use my camera when my daughter was a few months old as I desperately wanted to capture sweet images of my girl that I would love and want to keep forever. That quickly turned into me just wanting to capture life and motherhood in general. I love meeting new families and the friendships this adventure has given me!

why i became a
I've spent as much time as possible every summer at my grandma's cottage on the lake (in the same town I grew up in). Now it is my parent's home and my husband's parents have built a house just a mile away on the same lake. It has always been and continues to be my happy place and we spend as much of our summers there still, going between the two houses, as we are able. My daughter is quite the lake girl now too!

We tend to head to church in the morning and love to get brunch afterwards. In the summer we love to spend our weekends at the lake but in the fall you'll find us on the couch watching football with the fire going and a crockpot meal cooking. This is my favorite time to curl up under a blanket and edit your sessions too.

-Target is a glorious place to spend a few hours
-You can typically find me eating Pesto's, Ricochet's Tacos, or Bangkok Thai on a Friday night
-I've never turned down an offer for icecream & have a big sweet tooth
-I love girly and dainty fashion and I'll be putting a bow in my daughter's hair for as long as she allows
-I prefer to be barefoot whenever possible and don't enjoy spending money on shoes often
After seeing the immense need, my husband & I became licensed foster parents in May of 2019 & are currently loving on our 4th placement. I also volunteered as a CASA for a few years prior, to help be the voice and an advocate for the foster kids in my county. If either of these sounds like something you would like to do reach out! I'm always open to answering questions and helping others get started.
